Searching for the middle ground

I’m tired of demands to restore society to some period in our past when things were ‘better’ or ‘great’.

But I’m also tired of the attempts to dismiss the achievements of people in our past because they did not act according to our modern moral code.

I’m tired of all the coaches, influencers and thought leaders. Is there anyone left in the arena?
